Timothy Hyland | Managing Partner, National Director of Sales
Timothy M. Hyland serves as National Director of Sales and Marketing for all institutional and retail sales. Tim is also on the Board of Directors of Titanium Asset Management and of TAMCO. Tim joined predecessor firm Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co. in 1994 as Executive Vice President and National Sales Manager. Prior to joining the firm, Tim held the position of Senior Vice President with McDonald & Co. Securities, Inc. since 1990. Tim joined McDonald & Co. in 1985 as an Associate Vice President and was elected to the firm’s Presidents’ Council for top producers in 1989. He began his career as an Account Executive with Smith Barney Harris & Upham in 1982 and holds a BS from Georgia Institute of Technology. Tim has 36 years of industry experience.
Michael Bee | Managing Partner, Director of Client Service
Michael E. Bee serves on the Board of Directors of Titanium Asset Management and its subsidiary Boyd Watterson Asset Management. In addition, he currently serves as National Director of Client Service for all institutional and retail relationships and as a Director of Equity Management. Michael joined Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co. (Boyd Watterson's predecessor firm), as a Research Associate in 1990. Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a Senior Financial Analyst within the Corporate Trust Division of the Northern Trust Company, in Chicago. Michael has served in many roles between the firm's offices in Cleveland and Chicago since joining the firm in 1990. Michael has served as a senior investment strategist for the firm and has a background in large cap equity and fixed income portfolio management. Michael holds an MBA from John Carroll University and a BS, in Economics, from DePaul University. He is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago. Michael also serves on the Boards of Speedeon Data, Lake Erie College, and the Investment Committee of the Laurel School for Girls. Michael has 25 years of industry experience.
Ken Coffman | Senior Vice President, advisor channel, Southeast Region
Ken R. Coffman serves as Platform Sales Manager. Ken joined Boyd Watterson in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Ken served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Kopp Investment Advisors and as a Financial Advisor at Dain Bosworth. He holds a BA from Western Michigan University. Ken has 27 years of industry experience.
Theodore Hellmuth | Senior Vice President, advisor Channel, Midwest Region
Theodore N. Hellmuth is part of the Platform Sales team. Theodore joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2002. Prior to joining the firm, Theodore held the positions of Investment Officer at Carnegie Asset Management Co. and Partner at Roulston & Company. Theodore holds a BS from Hillsdale College. Theodore has 33 years of industry experience.
Brian Larson | Senior Vice President, advisor Channel, NOrtheast Region
Brian C. Larson serves as the Northeast Regional Director for the Advisor Channel sales team and has been with Boyd Watterson Asset Management since 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Brian was a Divisional Director at AXA Advisors, Investment Sales Coordinator at Prudential Investments and a Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor. Brian holds a BS from St. John’s University and has 20 years of industry experience. He currently resides in Manhattan, NY with his wife Natalie and two daughters. Brian is an active participant with his church and school. In his spare time he also enjoys sailing, skiing, running and traveling.
Terry Doyle | Senior Vice President, Institutional Sales and Client Servicing
Terrence P. Doyle is a Senior Vice President, Institutional Sales and Client Servicing. Terry joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Terry was a Director and Product Specialist at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management. Terry has also served as a Director at Equitable Life, and as an Investment Broker for the firms Caldwell Banker, Cushman & Wakefield, and B&K. Terry holds a BA from Michigan State University.
Peter Franz, CFA | Vice President, Institutional Sales
Peter R. Franz, CFA is Vice President of Institutional Sales. In his role, he provides clients with service and insight into the firms various investment strategies – and facilitates the development of those relationships. He is also involved in product development and works closely with portfolio managers to understand and articulate positioning of portfolios. Prior to joining the firm, Pete served as Chief Investment Officer and Advisor at Beacon Financial Partners and Cedar Brook Financial Partners – both private wealth management firms in Cleveland. Pete is a member of CFA Society of Cleveland and CFA Institute. He holds a CFA Charter and received his BS in Political Science from Wittenberg University. He has been in the investment industry since 2007.
Grant Glaser | Vice President, advisor Channel, Mid-Atlantic Region
Grant T. Glaser is part of the Platform Sales team. Grant joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management as an Internal Sales Consultant in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Grant served as an Internal Sales Consultant at Evergreen Investments. Grant holds a BS in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Grant has 10 years of industry experience.
