Thomas Tarantino | General Counsel, Chief COmpliance Officer
Thomas J. Tarantino is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Boyd Watterson Asset Management. Tom has practiced law for over 25 years in the areas of corporate and business law, investment adviser regulation, securities law, commercial real estate, government law, and public finance. Tom holds a JD from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a BA from Cleveland State University. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Ohio, the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Tom is also a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals.
Taylor Gevry | Associate General Counsel, Real estate
Taylor R. Gevry joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2014. Taylor holds a BS from Wheaton College, an MBA from Cleveland State University, and a JD from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where she graduated summa cum laude. Taylor is admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio. She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society. Taylor is currently enrolled in the CFA program.
Ruth Sweeney | Associate General Counsel, Assistant Compliance Officer
Ruth A. Sweeney joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2017 as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Compliance Officer. Ruth holds a BS from University of Dayton and a JD from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio. She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
Patty Jamieson | Chief Financial Officer
Patricia J. Jamieson is the Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Boyd Watterson Asset Management Company. Prior to joining Boyd Watterson in 2016, Patty Jamieson was with Keycorp until 2013, where she held various executive director positions that reported directly to the Chief Financial Officer since 1998. Patty currently serves on the board of directors of Centrus Energy Corp, a public company. She has also served on the board of Titanium Asset Management Company, which was then a public company. Patty holds a BS in Accounting from John Carroll University.
Kathleen Herrin | Senior Vice President, Controller
Kathy B. Herrin oversees accounting, finance, cash management and external audit functions for the real estate team. Prior to joining Boyd Watterson in 2010, Kathy was Vice President, Controller and Asset Manager for a boutique Chicago real estate investment firm. As controller she was responsible for overseeing the accounting, reporting and forecasting for a $550 million real estate portfolio. As Asset Manager she was responsible for monitoring the activities of third-party property management. In addition, Kathy spent ten years at ORIX Real Estate Equities as vice president in accounting and finance, where she worked in the areas of corporate and development accounting. Lastly, Kathy spent seven years at LaSalle Partners as a portfolio controller, working on several large managed fund accounts. Kathy has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting with a concentration in finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Tracy Taylor | Vice President, Controller, Corporate accounting
Tracy A. Taylor is a Vice President at Boyd Watterson focusing on corporate accounting. Tracy joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Tracy worked in public accounting focusing on personal and corporate taxation. Tracy holds an MSA from the University of Akron and a BBA from the University of Cincinnati.

Thoriq A. Hardian serves as the Senior Staff Accountant for the real estate team. Prior to joining Boyd Watterson in September 2016, Thoriq worked at KeyBank as a Senior Fund Accountant and PNC Bank as a Senior Operation Specialist/Senior Fund Accountant for the Building Investment Trust (BIT). Thoriq holds a BA in Finance and a Master of Accountancy from Cleveland State University.

Abdul-Hak Ali is a Senior Staff Accountant at Boyd Watterson focusing on corporate accounting. Abdul joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Abdul worked at The Sherwin Williams Company as a Financial Associate. Abdul holds a BA from John Carroll University.

Susan J. Simi oversees all office management, payroll, benefit administration, and human resource functions for the firm. Susan joined Duff and Phelps, the predecessor to Boyd Watterson Asset Management, in 1979 and previously served as Controller, office manager and operations analyst. Susan holds a certificate in Human Resource Management from Baldwin Wallace College.
Teresa Burchfield | Executive Vice President, Director of Operations
Teresa J. Burchfield serves as Operations Manager, overseeing all operations functions. Teresa joined Duff & Phelps, predecessor to Boyd Watterson Asset Management, in 1987. Prior to joining the firm, Teresa began her career within the Securities and Safekeeping Department at National City Bank in Cleveland. Teresa holds an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University and a BS from the University of Dayton.

Karen A. Ringler is a Trading Support Specialist. Prior to joining Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2008, Karen was a trader at Clarion Capital Management and a Trading Assistant at Prescott Ball and Turban.
Sue Norman | New Accounts, Trade Support
Sue Norman is a Trading Support Specialist. Sue joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2006 as an Administrative Assistant and holds a certification in Secretarial Services. Prior to joining Boyd Watterson, Sue was the office manager for Spitzer Real Estate as well as the legal assistant to Spitzer Management’s legal counsel.

Karen M. Wisner is an Operations Portfolio Administrator. She joined Duff and Phelps, predecessor to Boyd Watterson Asset Management, in 1990. Prior to joining the firm, Karen began her career in the Operations Department at Roulston & Company in Cleveland.

Cynthia L. Turnbow works in administration for the real estate team. Prior to joining Boyd Watterson in 2015, Cynthia served as the Investor Relations Specialist and Internal Wholesaler at a boutique Real Estate investment firm for four years. She also worked at FPL Advisory Group for 11 years as the Receptionist/Accounts Payable Assistant.
